The new version of Android 4.1 is expected to come in the near future. When purchasing a Galaxy Nexus HSPA + from the US Play Store, the following description appears: “the latest smartphone from Google, soon the first phone with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean...”
At the beginning of the year, it was supposed that Jelly Bean would be the next 5.0 Android, but, as the current version of Android is 4.0, and the next one is labelled 4.1 the changes doesn’t look to be major ones.
The release of a new OS looks as a necessity for the launching of the Google’s 7’’ tablet. Very likely, we will hear information about this at the Google’s I/O conference that will take place between 27th and 29th of June. At that time it may also come to light the rumour that Google signed up to offer subscription of major magazine publishers, (making a special catalog app with media) which will enable people to buy digital newspapers on the tablet.
Android ‘Key Lime Pie’ will follow Jelly Bean?
The news spread quickly, and rumours say (the information come initially from ‘The Verge’) that android 5.0 will be ‘Key Lime Pie’ and will come probably at the beginning of 2013.
