Samsung galaxy S i9000, was the most sold android device ever. And in future if other device will be more sold then i9000, it will forever remain the device that made Android OS famous. Update is neither official or stable, you can give it a try . The Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update is already available for the Galaxy S i9000 and here you have a guide to flash it on your device. Please note that this update only works on the Samsung Galaxy S i9000. Do not try flashing it on any other device, because it will not work and might even damage your device. Also please note that this is a testing ROM and is not at all stable. But you can keep an eye on it, very soon it will be. Before start flashing check: -Your device is charged to at least 60%. -USB Debugging is activated. In order to activate it head over to Settings > Developer Tools and tick “USB Debugging”. -First you will have to disable SIM Card Lock on your device. In order to do so head over to Settings > Location and Security > Sim card lock and make sure the checkbox is not ticked. If your device is on a Gingerbread or older ROM, then you will have to flash the update HERE and then root it using our guide HERE.
